We had a great time on our spring outing in Dallas! We went to Six Flags and got to see a David Crowder Band and NeedtoBreathe concert in the park. We also had a great time helping out with an Easter egg hunt at a church in the Dallas area, playing Just Dance and other games, and getting to know each other better.

Our very first 90’s Throwback Night was a hit, as we danced to childhood favorites and enjoyed a night reminiscing in the joys of our youth. We hope to bring this event back in the years to come.

Rush week came with late nights in Berry Bible, praying and debating over who to invite back each night. We had a lot of fun meeting all the rushees and getting to know each other better in our sleep deprived zombie states!

Finally, after a very crazy week, God blessed us with eight new pledges! They’re such a unique and wonderful group of girls, each with their own God-given talents that will add a lot to our club.

Chi Rho Phi Spiritual Outing 2010
For this year’s spiritual outing we took a trip to Kelsi’s grandparents’ house in Benton, Arkansas. We gave their back and front yards some intense TLC and spent a lot of time in the word and with each other. It was such a blast!

So we’re back at school, and we just held our annual TWIRP Luau. It was a great success. We had many people attend, fantastic food, and great games and fun. Our big brothers also twirled fire for us. They are so great to help like that. We had a wonderful event and are looking forward to an eventful and enjoyable semester.

We have come to the end of the semester for yet another time. There is much going on with everyone preparing for finals, packing up their rooms, and making summer plans. We have had a wonderful semester full of smiles, laughs, and of course drama. But all in all it was a wonderful semester full of beginnings and ends. We are beginning to say our goodbyes to our lovely senior ladies graduating a mere ten days from now. Chi Rho Phi has grown yet again this semester and we have a fantastic group of women to carry the club on for another year and into a new decade for Chi Rho Phi as we will celebrate our 10 year anniversary this fall. What a beautiful thought…
